Our website and related data processing are hosted on servers located in Austria. Therefore, personal data may be processed in Austria as part of the operation of the website and its technical administration.
We ensure that appropriate technical and organizational security measures are implemented.
3) Contacting Us
If you contact us via a form on the website or by email, the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions.

4) Data Storage / Course Booking & Contract Processing
If you register for a course or book a service, we process personal data that is necessary for course organization and contract fulfillment, in particular:
- First and last name (parents/guardians and participants)
- Address (if required for invoicing)
- Telephone number and email address
- Child's age / date of birth (for correct course allocation)
- Course details (level, course location, course times, participation information)
- Billing and payment data (e.g. invoice number, payment status)
The data you provide is required for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude a contract with you.
Data will generally not be transferred to third parties, except to service providers necessary for processing, such as:
- Payment service providers / banking institutions for payment processing
- Accounting / tax advisors to fulfill legal tax obligations
- IT/hosting service providers for the operation and security of our systems (e.g. server operation in Austria)
We only work with service providers to the extent necessary for operation and ensure a data protection–compliant handling of personal data.

If an inquiry ends without a contract being concluded, the data will be deleted within the limits of legal requirements or removed after an appropriate period of time.

To protect privacy, taking photos and filming is strictly prohibited in changing rooms and in the swimming facility.
Photos or videos taken by Marco Polo Sport for marketing purposes (e.g. website, social media, flyers) will only be created and used with the explicit consent of the person concerned or their legal guardians. This consent can be withdrawn at any time.

In principle, you have the following rights (depending on the applicable data protection law):
- Access to stored data
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion (provided there is no legal obligation to retain the data)
- Restriction of processing
- Objection to certain data processing activities
- Withdrawal of consent (e.g. newsletter or photo consent)
